Visiting a new church can be intimidating: What should I wear? Where do I park? Where do my kids go?
We understand the many thoughts that can come from visiting a new church, so we want you to feel completely comfortable when you visit. Below are some frequently asked questions. If you have any additional questions, don't hesitate to contact us or visit the Information Center when you're at service.
- When are services?
- What should I wear?
- How do I get to East Hill?
- Where should I park?
- Where do my kids go?
- Where can I get a cup of coffee?
- Am I expected to put money in the offering?
- Who can tell me more?
Services are on Sunday mornings at 9:15 and 11:15 a.m. as well as on the First Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m.
Our main service is located in the Main Auditorium. This is East Hill's central venue with worship that highlights the weekend's theme through an eclectic mix of music, drama and media.
At the same time as our two Sunday services in the Main Auditorium, we offer our Classic Venue, which is described as "today with roots," offering a more traditional worship experience. Those services are held in our Office Complex. To see a map and get directions to these buildings, click here.
All the services typically last about 90 minutes.
Be comfortable; come as you are. After all, we are thrilled that you're joining us and want you to be more focused on the service than what you're wearing.
In the summertime, it's not uncommon to see people wearing sandals, shorts, and a shirt. Others prefer to still put on their "Sunday best" and that's fine too! We think you'll fit in no matter how you dress.
We're located at 701 N. Main Avenue in Historic Downtown Gresham, between Powell and Division Streets.
If you're a visitor, we have special marked parking places for you right across from the Main Auditorium. If you don't see them, or if they're taken, feel free to park anywhere surrounding the campus, on either the north or the south side. The south side parking lot stretches all the way to the Gresham Library. Street parking is good too, as long as you're not blocking anyone's driveways.
- Pre-schoolers (ages 0-5) go to Kid's Zone, at the north end of the Auditorium. Learn more about Kid's Zone here.
- Grade schoolers (grades K-5) go to Kid City, the amazing child-sized town located directly across from the Main Auditorium building. Learn more about them here.
- Middle schoolers (grades 6-8) go to Ignite, at the Youth Center during Wednesday and Sunday services. Learn more about them here.
- High schoolers (grades 9-12) have their own Collide services Sunday nights at 6:30 p.m. in the Youth Center. Learn more here.
East Hill's Espresso Shop, conveniently located in the Auditorium foyer, has regular and decaf "drip" coffee as well as an assortment of espresso drinks available.
If you're a new visitor, visit the Welcome Center to receive a free coffee.
If you are visiting with us, we don't expect you to put money in the offering, and you are welcome to just let it pass you by. If you consider East Hill your church home, we'd love for you to prayerfully consider giving to East Hill. You can give by check or cash during the service, or you can set-up an online giving account here.
When you visit, we have a Welcome Center designed for new visitors, as well as an Information Center to help point you in the right direction. The Information Center is conveniently located adjacent to the main entrance of the Auditorium, and the Welcome Center is just down the hall. Talk to someone at either location, and they'll give you a free gift and tell you more about East Hill.
